HD Motorcycle Technician

We are seeking a skilled HD Service Technician to repair, customize, and maintain new and used Harley-Davidson© motorcycles in a timely fashion, while ensuring maximum satisfaction on work orders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform optimum service, repair, and customization work on motorcycles in accordance to factory specifications.
  • Complete repair work within scheduled or allotted time accurately.
  • Notify service planner if additional work needed or any delays in expected completion as soon as they become known.
  • Keep work area neat and organized.
  • Must consistently work under a "safety first" mindset.
  • Complete and maintain Service Technician training as assigned by Harley Davidson, with a goal of obtaining Master level certifications.
  • Road test motorcycles to ensure customer satisfaction (must have motorcycle endorsement).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • Harley Davidson Technician certification
  • Knowledge of motorcycle repair and maintenance.
  • Completion of a formal training program such as Motorcycle Mechanics or equivalent work experience.
  • Current motorcycle endorsement on driver's license.
  • Ability to safely work with motorcycles.

Position Summary

The Clerk prepares legal transfer documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles on retail and wholesale transactions.  The Title Clerk also verifies and makes payoffs on vehicle trade-ins.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processing used vehicle titles after wholesale by auction
  • Prepares Used Vehicle Trade Jackets
  • Call on titles in transit
  • Contacts banks to obtain lien releases
  • Prepare car deals for scanning
  • Provide additional administrative support as needed

job requirement

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Two experience with automotive or DMV title processing
  • Proficient knowledge of title transfer paperwork and process in NC and neighboring states.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Strong communication skills- both written and verbal
